DESCRIPTION:Youth Hangout is a welcoming weekly space created for young people aged 12 and above to connect\, express themselves\, develop valuable skills and simply enjoy being young.\n\nGrowing up comes with many pressures. Young people may experience challenges around confidence\, friendships\, emotional wellbeing\, belonging or understanding who they are. Sometimes\, what they need most is a safe environment where they can talk openly\, build positive relationships and know that their voice matters.\n\nAt Youth Hangout\, we create that environment.\n\nThrough relaxed conversations\, games\, sports\, creative activities\, outings and group experiences\, young people are encouraged to build confidence\, resilience\, communication skills\, leadership skills and healthy relationships.\n\nIt isn't about sitting in a classroom. It is about learning through experiences\, conversations\, friendships and fun.\n\nYoung people can expect games\, sports\, fun outings\, food\, creative activities\, open discussions and opportunities to develop their talents and interests.\n\nMost importantly\, Youth Hangout is a place where every young person is encouraged to be themselves\, feel heard and discover their potential.\n\nWho is it for?\nYoung people aged 12 years and above.\n\nWhen?\nSaturdays\, 1:00pm – 4:00pm\n\nVenue:\nTo be announced.\n\nConnect.
